The Texas Department of Insurance has been busy making insurance agents lives a little easier. Effective 9-1-15, the CE hours for insurance licenses have been reduced to 24 hours per license period (down from 30 hours). In addition, effective January 1, 2016, the expiration date for all individually held insurance licenses will be changed so that they occur on the license holder’s birthday.
